Malvern teacher-librarian for grades K-4 and high school; teach library skills classes K-4 Chantry and K-4 N-V as well as 5 and 6 EMMS; also assist with Panther Pride School Bank and teach financial education enrichment classes at Chantry.

Education

Graduated from Omaha North High School. Earned B.A. from Nebraska Wesleyan University (Lincoln, NE) and M.A. from University of Colorado-Boulder

Biographical Information I taught elementary classroom in Jefferson County, Colorado for several years before moving to Alaska and being library media-specialist for seven years. After moving to Iowa and marrying Keith Henderson, I substituted and then took five years off after children Amy and Brian were born. Since 1986 I've been Chantry part-time librarian and in recent years also serve part time at the high school and at N-V/EMMS. I have three rescue cats and have done many home improvement projects over the past five years including two major perennial garden landscape areas this summer. We have a new grandson and a 26- month-old granddaughter who are wonderful blessings.
